Graphics, Branding and Renders

At Youth Civic Challenge, Ashna combined Graphic Design, Exhibit Design and Project Management, to translate civic education into engaging visual communication and immersive learning experiences. She led the development of marketing and educational collateral, including promotional materials, stickers, and teacher and student handbooks, while helping transform lesson plans into experiential learning models that encourage critical thinking and civic engagement.
In addition to her design responsibilities, she coordinated day-to-day schedules and facilitated collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the organization’s mission of empowering young people to understand their rights, embrace their responsibilities, and become active participants in shaping their communities and future.
ROLE: Exhibit and Graphic Designer, Project Manager
Website & Collateral

Primary marketing efforts were focused on developing a website for the organization. The website was designed and developed to capture the attention of both students and teachers alike. Using the red, blue and white branding seen across the rest of the marketing and promotional collateral, it focused on coneying the message of youth empowerment and active participation in community.
The biggest challenge working on this was that the program was ever evolving and growing, which meant constant time consuming updates and changes. This problem was quickly combated by making some core changes to the layout of the website setting it up for the team to only add information as the organization efforts kept moving forward. The new layout was efficient, time-saving and less arduous.
Below are some of the pages on the website.

YC2 X AMTL at NCSS Conference
Over the years Youth Civic Challenge has attended multiple conferences and symposiums. This one stood out from the rest as it was in collaboration with the American Museum of Tort Law.
While it was a simple booth, the backdrop of the booth definitely caught some attention. Using the style guide provided by AMTL, the design was created including illustratiosn created based on the lessons that are a core part of Youth Civic Challenge. Placed on top was the 'Wallpaper,' an extremely integral part of the Youth Civic Challenge ecosystem.
The backdrop graphic was deliberately made to not give away information but incite curiosity.
