The Milton Mendel & Marsha Kleinberg Jewish Omaha Heritage Center is an exhibit showcasing the lives and history of Omaha’s Jewish community dating back to the 1850s. The exhibit focuses on the impact they've had on the Omaha community.

CONCEPT:  The exhibit features historical objects, the Dorothy Henry Riekes Museum collectionn and is divided into six sections: Building an Omaha Community, Early Immigrants, Making a Better World, Faith & Identity, Holocaust Survivors and Rites of Passage & Civic Service. The panles and artifacts behind glass under each section have large historical photos on the wall serving as backdrops. The exhibit also features touchscreens throughout the museum with rotating digital exhibits, to allow the community to share more of the rich Omaha Jewish history. Guests are highly encouraged to engage with these digital exhibits.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. It is located inside the Jewish Community Center on the Staenberg Kooper Campus in Omaha.
