Narrative and Concept Driven
Hi! I am so glad you wanted to know more about the project I am a part off! This is one of Ashna's favorite projects she worked on when she was at the Savannah College of Art and Design for her Masters. The brief required her to create a storyline and character concepts for a graphic novel.
THE CONCEPT: When Poseidon grows tired of humanity’s relentless pollution of the oceans, he empowers water with memory, allowing it to remember every harm inflicted upon it and fight back. But his attempt to teach humans a lesson spirals out of control, as water reclaims half of Earth’s habitable land. Furious with his reckless actions, Zeus banishes Poseidon from Olympus and forces him to work with Hades to undo the chaos and restore the planet.
The characters in this story include, Poseidon, Hades, Rhea (human personification of water), Emiko and Detritus.
